Well done to RJ. Well, what can be said? Our new found confidence in car set up went out the window and we are back to square one! When trying to get the last five percent out of the car our front end problems returned. The team have learnt a valuable lesson here and in future testing we will push to the limit to try and find these problems before an event. Driver and team not the best of friends at the moment with the announcement of Wayno's defection to Citroen either!

PST are feeling the pinch at the moment. Infostrada have agreed to remain as sponsers for the next event in New Zealand but are expecting an improved performance. The car is struggling on the corners and chewing up rubber in a most alarming way. On the positive front Citroen have agreed to supply a second Xsara to replace that we *lost* and we hope to get Wayno testing within the week. We are also trialing a new front suspension for the Subaru in the lead up to NZ, should improve our cornering abilities on the soft gravel

*****PRESS RELEASE***** Team Subaru have decided to deny Wayno's request to start testing with his new team for next season. We are very disappointed with his decision to leave our team. We feel we have provided him with a great working environment, a competitive car and a fantastic opportunity to win this seasons title. Handing our rivals an unfair advantage for next season is not why Team Subaru are in the racing business. As such any attempt by Wayno to engage in activities we feel will dilute his focus on this years title will be blocked by us. This decision was not taken lightly. Our tyre supplier, Pirelli, are also against this testing request. They feel it will be feeding data straight to Michelin for next season. Wayno is contracted to us, and until that contract expires he will only drive for us.

Not a good rally for Skoda. Our shakedown results were very accurate compared to our result. I never could get a good feeling with the car, as we were sliding far to much. Not much to do but move on.

**NEWS RELEASE** What an interesting turn this season has taken. With only 3 rallies completed there is already talks of who will driving for who next season. The huge anncouncement by the FIA really seems to have sturred up the rally world. Wayno and Subaru do not seem to be on the same page right now, so one has to wonder if this will effect the rest of the season. Huge anncouncement by Citroen who have announced that they will be running a pair of Xsara T4's in the next season. It will be interesting to see how they do, as they have already begun testing. Also it appears that rumors of Mitsubishi returning to the rally world are true. Our photographer captured this image in England. No official news on who will be driving the Lancer, though Rallying83 is rumored to have links with the new team. "Its no secret that Skoda are having funding trouble as it is and I want to really push for the title next year, so to say I am not looking would be a lie"-Rallying83 on rumors So it will definately be interesting to see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned....

Rallying83 on Mitsubishi's announcement "I was a little suprised that they announced it so early but I expect they are trying to build up excitment for their arrival. I still am fully commited to Skoda this year, but as I have said before, Skoda just doesn't have the financial backing to get me to where I want to go."
