2006 will mark a new era for the WRC. New cars, Manuf. leaving are just a couple of reasons. I hope that this signifies better seasons. 2004 was crap, 2005 was not as bad but still bad. So we shall see. I am looking foward to the C4 and the new Focus, I just wish Subaru hadn't come out with the Subalfa. Oh well we can't win them all. Onward to 2006 and lets hope its a good one.

It seems like the WRC will have a major shake up next year. Only 3 manufacturers! How g a y (no offence to g a ys). Far out. 2006 will be terrible. I might just follow the JWRC next year. All of rallying is going downhill.
Hopefully 2007 we'll see.
Citroen Subaru Ford Peugeot Mitsubishi Skoda Hyundai
2006 is going to be a long year.
Special Thanks must go to the FIA for screwing everything up. You have wrecked our sport.

I wonder if McRae could get a 2 car team of him and either his brother or Meeke with McRae motorsport. I am not sure how well funded this company is. Just an idea.

Part of the problem is the way that Citroen have benefited from the rules. Added to this is the lack of improvement on the Xsara. To have a manufacturer win 11/16 races ruins the sport. F1 had real trouble last yr as a result of the schumacher factor. Bordom sets in quickly. I can only hope that it is a close title fight like 2003 was. To have another 2004/5 season continuance would turn me off the WRC in a big way. The European championships are much more interesting (just look at the effect on the ARC that subaru's 10 in a row had)
