Here is my newest and 1st 1:43 collection. I used to collect 1:18's but 1:43 has so much more to offer in terms of variety.

Nice collection there Rallying83- the focus is from greece 03, came with the rallycar collection magazine. I wasn't going to buy it but it was released the week after Michael Park's death so I added it to the collection. The pug is the first of 3 Marlboro sponsered ones i want. I have the 05 model kit to be made in Park/Martin monte guise and will get the 04 monte of Gronholm. Other than that yeh a lot of subarus, with more to come Next addition to the collection will hopefully be the 1998 McRae sweden as a code 3, got the decals just waiting to get the base model

That's a smashing collection you have there R83. My brother collects die-cast models of V8 supercars and classics, ie..Chev pick ups, Cobras-his collection is large too. He has suggested to me to start collecting die-cast rally models, I think the only reason i haven't is because I think they will go missing into his!! If I could keep them under lock and key i would-you are really tempting me though

Just wondering what ppl would think of 1/43 Australian rally cars. I for one would like to see more, I know someone in the UK who is going to do a v. limited run of Neil Bates' Corolla WRC as a code 3. Wondering whether ppl are interested in more Aust cars like Possum Bourne, COdy Crocker subarus, Ordynski Mitsubishis etc?

Yeah for sure. I'd be up for models like that. Something a bit different and, for that reason, very collectable.

Haven't got much in the way of rally models, but the collection is growing all the time! I collect 1:18 cars and so far only have AutoArt Makkinen 1999, Burns 2001, Gronholm 2002, Solberg 2003 and Loeb 2004. I have over 200 1:18 die-cast cars now of a whole lot of motor racing disciplines. Space gets to be a premium after a while!
