The very loveable quiet Finn drove his last rally in the ARC last weekend. After arriving in 2003 to drive for Les Walkden in a Evo 7 to replace Michael Guest. He was immediatley partnered with Guest's old co driver of 2002 Julia Rabbett who also drove with targa Tasmania 04 winner Tony Sullens. He drove for the factory Mitsubishi team in 2004 with Ed Ordynski and has spearheaded Les Walkdens Subaru attack this year but couldn't get to terms with the car all year. It will be a shame to see him go.

He seems a nice guy but has made quite a number of basic errors over his time here in Aust. especially in holding up Bates last week. Additionally he hasn't really achieved the potential that was expected. Hopefully he achieves more in whichever series he moves to

This is another move which was rumoured a few months ago-he want's more than this championship can offer. He's very good but Europe is the star he's shooting for-it always was. Perhaps he can achieve more there-he was always up against it here, especially with the factory Subaru team dominating everything. A competitive car and a change of scenery may be just what the doctor ordered. -LITA
