Well the FIA have totally scr*wed the WRC. Mitsubishi are the latest manufacturer to pull out. Just days ahead of a test in sweden it is unclear what direction Mitsubishi will take with regard to its future endeavours. If Hyundai are any marker they will never return. media.mitsubishi-motors.com/pressrelease/e/motorsports/detail1389.htmlAll we know now is that the manu title is a two horse race between Subaru and Ford. Can the WRC get any more boring. I miss the good ol days of 99/00

The WRC is now really screwed up!
Mitsubishi is my favorite team...
This was quite unexpected since Mitsubishi did developed the '05 Lancer for the '06 rules... And don't forget the had some strong showings from the car, Gilles 3rd and Harri's 2nd place.
WTF?! Now it's just Ford and Subaru?!

Man, that's terrible.
A two horse race between Ford and Subaru. How ridiculous can it get? Mistubishi were my second favourite team as well.

I hear you RJ-it seems like the championship will go either way eh? Too bad-competition never hurt anyone and is good for the spirit. This way, the only flags we'll be seeing getting waved at rally's are those of Subi's and Ford-how drab!

Another shocking bit of news to hit the WRC. Let's see - we have lost over the past 6 years:
Toyota Hyundai Seat Peugeot Citroen (but will return) Mitsubishi (twice now) Skoda
And we are left with Ford and Subaru as 'factory' teams. Meanwhile, teams are fighting to get onto the F1 grid.
