G'day, I thought I'd list my rally games. I also want to see which ones others have too, or at leats find out whether I am the only rally gaming geek here....!
Ok, here goes:
Colin McRae Rally Colin McRae Rally 2.0 Colin McRae Rally 3 Tommi Makinen Rally WRC WRC II WRC 3 WRC 4
All are PlayStation games.
Actually, looking at the list, it is not that many after all... But these games I still have, and haven't sold, traded etc.
I still need and want to get Colin McRae Rally 4, and Colin McRae Rally 2005, as well as Richard Burns Rally (what an awesomely difficult game!)
My favourite - well, that is a hard one. Different games mean different things to me. I will forever hold a soft spot for the first Colin McRare game. I got it when it first came out (with the bonus fold-out poster in the booklet), and drove that game till I knew every stage by memory. It has been far superceded by newer titles, but that got all the basic ingredients so right, first time out.
WRC 4 is very handy, and probably my favourite title at the moment. It is so pretty, fun and challenging enough without being frustratingly hard, and has all the official cars, liveries, drivers and sponsors.
Tommi Makinen Rally is plain terrible. 'Nuff said.
Oh, I and think that the rallying on GT4 is not as good as it could be. It seems that no sideways traction can be gained under ANY circumstances!

CMR04 was my first rally game..well that a lie Microsofts RalliSport challenge for PC was my first rally game...but this was my first good rally game. I saw it in the shop an actually bought an xbxo just to play it. After that I was hooked! CMR05 was a game I was looking foward to after playing 04. Though overall I was very pleased with it..especially when they added raly Germany, but I coulnd't help feeling there were things missing. Things like oh I don't know...3D crowds! RBR is the newest one to my collection. I haven't gotten to play it that much as my computer needs updating but I played it at a friends house and WOW. Amazing game and lots of fun to. So thats my story.... ;D

My very first rally game was Michelin Rally Masters back in '99 or '00 I think. Then Colin McRae and Colin McRae '02, Rallisport Challenge, Master Rallye (easy but fun), Colin McRae '04 and '05. Also have TOCA Race Driver 2. Would like to try Richard Burns Rally but stores around here didn't have it. All of these are PC games. I don't have an XBox or Playstation.

I have a number of older rally games for the PC, none better than CMR2 IMHO, having just gotten a PS2 I had to get WRC2, while not as good as WRC4 (which I will also get later) I had to get a game which had the Accent and Safari. To me its not really WRC w/out an African safari stage. I miss the good ol' days where we could see McRae run a couple of Km's offline and still win the stage (like in 02)

Yup you have the name right Richard Burns rally is a game in its own genre. Its realism is amazing. It takes a while but I highly reccomend it. If anyone wants a copy of Richard Burns for PS2 I do have a copy. All I ask is that you pay shipping. Its never been played.(I was given it by my mom who didn't know about region coding )

I've got my Brother getting a copy for PC off a co-worker of his-I'll test it out and see how it goes. We weren't going to get it but, seeing as everyone say's it's top stuff, we may as well. I don't usually play PC games-but if it's good then I might get a copy for PS2.

Why thank-you, I appreciate the gesture. But first in best dressed, if R83 still has it available, you go right ahead. The copy for PC that my brother is getting is apparently quite cheap, so we are doing pretty well there. I've never played a PC game before (sounds amazing) so it will be a first-I'll give it a try. Thank's once again for the offer tumbo-if R83 still has it it's yours

Just picked up wrc4, fantastic game but suffers from IMHO the same prob al the wrc games have, over sensitive steering, but having said that the graphics are fantastic! Can't wait to get wrc evolved now

Oh yeah-u gotta get evolved. A friend lent me their copy and it's great-I thought all the extra bits like more verbal addresses form the co-driver and hazards on the road would make it a bit too over the top-but I was wrong. They actually add to the mayhem; in a good way. When you can, get yourself a copy-I was sad that i had to give the one I had back, but now I know what i want santa to bring i think!. ;D
